Lenovo Think Pad X1
Carbon is now updated with windows 8 and some extra features. It I snow ultra
portable with fast performance, have flat keyboard and screen of 1600 X 900. It
has a classic business look but viewer cannot deny on its styli look, which
makes it compatible for every class.
It’s just a better version
of Carbon X1.
Let’s have a look on
Laptop.
In
this the structure of chassis is little different from the previous Carbon X1. In
this model chassis is not that much ting and light weight as compared to first
model because of the touch screen in this model.
Now the thickness measurement is 0.74 inch as compared to 0.71 inch in the
previous one.
If we
compare both the models touch screen model is 3.4 pounds heavier than it
sibling.
Its
keyboard is equipped with all the multimedia controls like direct button of
pause, play, etc.
It
also has some rare features like fingerprint reader on palm rest and a toggle
to put laptop in airplane mode.
It
has one USB 3.0 slot and one USB 2.0 slot, one head phone jack, 4 in 1 memory
card reader.
Shape
of its charging port is different from its rectangular in shape situated at the
left back corner. But a little drawback is that it is difficult to identify the
USB port and the charging port.
USB
to Ethernet adapter is also available in the laptop for the faster wired
network.
Have chicklet keyboard. Keys have
little curvature at the lower corners. Due to its curvature buttons resemble like a
complete U shaped smile. One new update is that now in this model keys cover 30
percent more area than the previous model. One important thing is that the
keyboard is backlit. And yes keyboard also have the identity mark a small
circular red button just like in all other think pad series
Have quite
good display of 1600 X 900. Although it has a good display but the little
problem is that it’s clear view is only for some specific angles on going
towards left or right side after a limit little grayness screen effect cab be
observed. This effect is common in almost all except HD display laptops. And the plus point is that the screen is too much friendly or you can say
responsive to the touch and taps. Touching is too smooth gives you a buttery and
comfortable feeling.
Laptop audio quality is also too much refined
as it is designed by keeping teleconferencing in mind. Sound is sufficient if
you are sitting in a quite room 50 percent of voice out of 100 is sufficient to
enjoy music.
It has a battery life of 5 hours and on
continuous heavy load it may support up to 3 hours.
