India Off To A Flier In Third Test

MOHALI: India off to a very good start  with both the openers Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay putting up a partnership of 50-runs on third day of third test between India and Australia in Mohali at Punjab Cricket Association on Saturday.

The day three started with Australia at 273/7 but,both Steve Smith and Mitchell Stark played beautifully and took Australia to 408 runs in first inning.Steven Smith and Mitchell Stark had a partnership of 97 runs for eighth wicket before Dhoni stumped Smith of Pragyan's bowling.

But,it wasn't the end for Australian Inning as Mitchell Stark and Nathan Lyon had an partnership of 51 runs for ninth wicket.

Stark scored his career best of 99 runs before edging the bowl to Dhoni's gloves of Ishant's Bowling.

Till the time of reporting India were 96/0 in 20 overs with Shikhar Dhawan scoring 60 runs and Murali Vijay scoring 35 runs.
