India Looks To Extend Lead Against Australia In Second Test
HYDERABAD: After a great win in Chennai where Indian team looked completely changed,India will like to win the second test and then go on to win the series.
After getting lot of positives from the first test particularly the form of Indian top-order except openers and the knock of the decade by Mahendra Singh Dhoni the home team will like to win the second test.
India will be very determined not to hook off the Australian team like they did with England's team which gone on to win the series after losing first test.
India had a very good history playing at Hyderabad. The last time India played at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal they beat New Zealand by a inning and 115 runs. This is a memorable ground for Ashwin as he took his first 10 wickets haul at this ground against New Zealand where he took 12 wickets for 85 runs.
The opening pair problem of India still continues and it looks like India will go on in the second test with the same combination of Virendra Sehwag and Murali Vijay.
Another issue which Indian team has to address is Pragyan Ojha.he is the prime spinner of India and is on bench. This is the home ground of Ojha but, then Pragyan Ojha will replace whom. Since ,Ashwin , Jadeja and Harbhajan all looked in good form so,it will be either of the pacers among Ishant Sharma and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.
But then,it's again a problem as Bhuvaneshwar gives Indian team depth in batting so,keeping him out could be against Indian team and if Ishant goes out then,Indian team will miss the experience in Pace Department as Bhuvaneshwar has only played one test match.
Till now.it looks like India will play with the same winning combination and Australian's will probably bring in one more spinner Xavier Doherty in place of fast bowler.
Squads:
India : Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay,Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar,Cheteshwar Pujara, , Ajinkya Rahane ,Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh,Ashok Dinda,Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha, Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
