Ganguly:Difficult To Say If Dhoni Has A Hand In Sehwag's Outster From Test Team
NEW DELHI: After giving a controversial statement against Mahendra Singh Dhoni,Former Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly today clarified his statement that says,Dhoni has a hand in Virender Sehwag's omission from the team.
On Saturday,a media report quoted Former Indian Captain saying that,"MS Dhoni has a hand in Virender Sehwag's removal from the Indian Test Team and also said that if Dhoni and Sachin are being "persisted" in Indian Team despite poor form then why not the Opener Sehwag".
On Sunday,when the news became a talking topic Ganguly came in front and clarified his statement.Ganguly said that,"MS Dhoni might have a hand in Sehwag's exclusion from the team as normally,captains do have a say in player's inclusion or exclusion from the team".
He also said that,it has been a case with all the captains they normally do have a hand in player's exclusion from the team whether it's me or Sachin,Kumble,Dravid, Dhoni, Azhar or any captains around world cricket
After saying this Ganguly also said that sometimes selectors don't agree with the captains demand.
At many a times they do listen and at many times they don't.So,in Sehwag's exclusion from the team it's very difficult to say that whether Dhoni had a hand in it or not.
