A national driving pattern annual study reveals that
Americans spent five & half billion hours only in the traffic in 2011.
Really huge wastage of time.
The Texas A&M Transportation Institute released a report
Tuesday that shows that Americans are changing their mood according to road
traffic or you can say adapting to road traffic by allowing an hour to make a
trip that would take only 20 minutes in a simple run.
Urban mobility report also reveals that choke off roads are becoming expensive for the
Americans. Its almost costing $ 121 billion in time and in fuel in 2011.
Top most congested cities are Washington, Los Angeles, San
Francisco-Oakland, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia &
Seattle.
Institute advises that there are some unique challenges
which have to be faced by every community and they may require different
multifaceted approaches to solving clog off.
