Twitter one of the biggest social networking site revealed that around 250,000 user accounts has been hacked by anonymous hackers in a security breach.

Twitter's Director of Information Security bob Lord said that the breach was not an amateur attack.He said in post-investigation we found that the Hackers may have accessed limited user information's like usernames,email addresses,session tokens and encrypted versions of passwords.

Bob said as a precautionary security measures,the company had resetpasswords and revoked session tokens for these accounts.

Few days back Twitter announced that it had detected an unusual pattern acroo the network and had found unauthorised access to user's database that had lead to hacking of accounts.
