Narayan Murthy is back with a pay hike at Infosys
Bangalore: After returning back to Infosys,Mr Narayan Murthy is back to work.The first thing he did is too keep talent at Infosys is to announce pay hike which did not happened frequently after Murthy left the company.
Mr. NR Murthy announced a pay hike of 8% for Indian employees and 3% for foreign employees.Along with the pay hike Murthy rolled out a message to employees that,he expects everyone to work hard.he also said,that those failing to live upto the expectations have uncertain future at Infosys.
According to analyst,this one move has killed several news with one stone.This pay hike will keep workers motivated and will stop talented workers from shifting company.Also,this move will bring back the confidence in shareholders.
Now,it looks like Mr Murthy have lot to do as this will increase pressure on company's profit and we are hopeful that he has a plan to cope up with it and bring back Infosys at it's may helm.
